Quarterback Cody Staerkel delivered, completing 20-of-28 passes for 332 yards and two touchdowns as Kimberly claimed a 38-20 victory to advance to the state semi-finals.

Kimberly receiver Conner Wnek caught nine passes for a state-best 203 yards and two touchdowns as the Papermakers topped Bay Port, 38-20. Both of Wnek's touchdown receptions put Kimberly ahead, including a 35-yard catch late in the third quarter that moved the Papermakers ahead for good.
