Air National Guard Level 3 Team of the Week Nominees:

Edgar - Edgar took advantage of a key sequence late in the second quarter to build an 18-0 halftime lead and knocked off Loyal 25-6 to advance to the state semi-finals. After a Karson Butt touchdown run early in the second quarter, the Wildcats returned two punts for touchdowns in a span of 102 seconds, both coming from different players, as Kaleb Hafferman went 35 yards to the house the first time and Butt ran 60 yards for the second score.

Lakeside Lutheran - The Warriors are into the WIAA state semi-finals for the first time in state history after running away from Edgerton 45-14. The running game chewed up clock in a big way, with 54 carries for 374 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. The defense came up big as well, holding the powerful Edgerton running game largely in check, while the Crimson Tide was forced to take to the air to try to come back, completing just 8-of-23 passes for 96 yards.

Lancaster - One of just five road teams to win in Level 3, Lancaster avenged a 14-0 Week 1 loss to Fennimore by getting out early on the Golden Eagles and hanging on for a 21-14 victory. Dawson Bowen scored a pair of rushing touchdowns in the first quarter to stake the Flying Arrows to a 13-0 lead, which they stretched to 21-0 when Bowen returned an interception 17 yards for a score early in the second. That was all the scoring Lancaster would do, but all they would need. Bowen rushed for 105 yards, while Corey Hahn carried the ball 21 times for 109 yards. The defense picked off Fennimore quarterback Reid Larson three times, matching his total for the previous 11 games combined.

Marshfield - It was a hard-fought back-and-forth affair between the Tigers and Pulaski, with neither team leading by more than one score at any point in the game. In fact, the game was tied on four separate occasions. Pulaski led 29-22 in the fourth quarter after Dylan Hendricks scored from two yards out, but Marshfield responded quickly as Brant Bohman ran 53 yards for a touchdown to tie the game at 29. It remained deadlocked until Marshfield put together a methodical drive late in the game, with Mason Coffren booting through a 24 yard field goal attempt on the final play to lift the Tigers to a 32-29 victory.

Stratford - Stratford went on the road in Level 3 to face unbeaten Kewaunee, but the Tigers quickly showed they were the superior team, racing out to a 19-0 lead after the first quarter and going up 35-0 at halftime on the host Storm. After a third quarter Kewaunee score, Stratford put the running clock on again for good in the fourth when Chase Fink scored the last of his three rushing touchdowns. Kade Ehrike did much of the heavy lifting in the game, rushing 26 times for 234 yards and a pair of scores.
