Mishicot sophomore Kylie Schmidt has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of January 21 through 27.

There was a total of 3,531 votes cast this week. Schmidt finished first with 1,330 votes. Westosha Central's Jaeden Zackary finished second with a total of 913 votes.

Kylie has been a double-double machine this season for Division 4, fifth-ranked Mishicot. This past week, she recorded her eighth double-double of the season as Mishicot beat Ozaukee 66-49. In doing so, Kylie also scored a career high 34 points in the win. She added 18 rebounds to round out the double-double performance.

On the season, Kylie is averaging 16.8 points and 9.1 rebounds for the Mishicot Indians, who are tied atop the Big East standings with Howards Grove. She is third in both scoring and rebounding in the conference.
