Cherney led the state in scoring with 31.6 points per game for Reedsburg. The 5-9 guard also averaged 12 rebounds per contest for coach Mark Simon and the 20-6 Beavers. Cherney, who holds several NCAA Division II offers, will enter her senior year with 1,671 career points. She has helped lead Reedsburg to two state tournament appearances, including a state runner-up finish in 2021. |
