Superior's Jessica Lindstrom has been selected as the top senior Post player as part of the WSN Senior Girls Basketball Awards.

Lindstrom plays with a high motor and can affect the game in a variety of ways. The Green Bay recruit averages 21.2 points per game and is also near the top of state in rebounding per game at 16.9 per contest.

For the second year in a row, Superior has qualified for the WIAA Division 1 State Tournament in Green Bay. The Spartans once again claimed the Lake Superior Conference title.

In last year's semi-final loss to eventual champion Milwaukee Rivers, Lindstrom scored 19 points and pulled down 22 rebounds, including 11 on the offensive end.

Finalists for the award were Lindstrom, Oregon's Maddy Gits, Oak Creek's Stephanie Kostowicz, Brodhead's Carly Mohns, and Merrill's Renee Sladek.

Past winners of the award include Brenna Lewis of Milwaukee Riverside (2013) and Heather Bowe of Regis (2012).

WSN Senior Basketball Awards are selected by WisSports.net staff.
