Stevens Point's Sam Hauser has been selected as the top senior Wing as part of the WSN Senior Boys Basketball Awards.

The co-Player of the Year in the Wisconsin Valley Conference along with teammate Trev Anderson, Hauser has battled shin splints all year and yet has still managed another stellar campaign for coach Scott Anderson and the Panthers, who take a 26-0 record into the state tournament.

The Marquette University recruit is averaging 18.2 points, 9.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists per contest while shooting 55.4 percent from the floor, 83.6 percent from the line and 43.6 percent (58 of 133) from three-point range.

Hauser has helped Stevens Point to a 98-6 record the past four years, including the 2015 WIAA Division 1 state title.

Finalists for the award were Hauser, Cameron's Peyton Dibble, Sheboygan North's Davis Larson, Superior's Brandon Myer, and East Troy's Jake Nixon.

Past winners of the award include Rice Lake's Henry Ellenson (2015), Kevon Looney of Milwaukee Hamilton (2014), Nick Fuller of Sun Prairie (2013), and Sam Dekker of Sheboygan Lutheran (2012).

WSN Senior Basketball Awards are selected by WisSports.net staff.
