Shawano senior Dylan Sumnicht has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of March 27 through April 2 after a vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 2,197 votes this week; Sumnicht received 889, while Notre Dame's Trudy Quidzinski finished second with 724 votes. 

Sumnicht was in midseason form on Saturday, tossing a complete game shutout as the Hawks edged New London 1-0 in a Bay Conference baseball game. He allowed just four hits and a walk, striking out eight.
