Amherst senior Wyatt Blaskowski has been selected as the rSchool Today Athlete of the Week for the week of April 3-9 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 4,518 total votes this week. Blaskowski topped all vote getters with 1,545 votes. Three Lake's Kallie Volk came in second with 1,432 votes.

Amherst took home an 8-0 shutout win of Weyauwega-Fremont this past Monday in its only game of the week. Blaskowski was dominant in the game, pitching a complete game no-hitter. The senior hurler struck out 13 batters in his no-hit bid. He also contributed from the plate, going one of three with an RBI, walk and two runs scored. Blaskowski added two stolen bases, dominating three facets of the game.

Monday in a 2-1 win over Bonduel, Blaskowski got another win on the mound, going the distance and allowing one run on two hits and eight strikeouts. He added a walk and a run from the plate.
