Jayden Gordon of Kenosha St. Joseph has been selected as the Week 2 Jolly Good Football Player of the Week following a statewide vote on WisSports.net. His big day helped the Lancers to an impressive win over a very good Racine St. Catherine's squad. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 2. A total of 10,050 votes were cast, as Gordon's 3,926 were enough to edge out second place Joseph Koch of Menomonee Falls, who tallied 3,466 votes.

Kenosha St. Joseph went on the road and scored an impressive win over a very good Racine St. Catherine's team on Friday night, 34-12. Jayden Gordon couldn't be stopped for the Lancers, rushing for 344 yards and four touchdowns on 24 carries, averaging 14.3 yards per attempt. He wasn't done there, however, recording a team-high 19 tackles on defense in one of the more impressive two-way performances we've seen recently.
