D2

Spooner defeated Barron 61-57 in double overtime, which seems to be the best game not written about, as we couldn't find any links to an article.

Plymouth defeated Waupun 62-57 last night, all three of Waupun's losses this year came against the Panthers.  Logan Dellger had 16 while Waupun's senior tandem of Aris Wurtz and Ryan Rassmussen finished their career combining for 37 points.

New Berlin Eisenhower defeated Slinger in overtime 44-40 and Brown Deer got 28 points from Kevin Wild against Milwaukee North to setup their sectional final match-up

The Monroe Cheesemakers stepped up the defense and defeated Wisconsin Dells 45-25.  The defending state champs take on East Troy in a matchup of top 5 ranked D2 teams.

D3

Whitefish Bay Dominican squeaked out a 51-50 victory over Oostburg.  Mr. Basketball candidate Kwamain Mitchell found Mikael Luter open in the middle of the Dutchmen 1-3-1 and delivered a remarkable pass for the game winning lay-up.

Controversy may be bubbling back up again as there is a chance for a four private school division 3 state tournament for the second consecutive season.  Roncalli, Regis & Aquinas all took care of business last night and many consider them the favorites going into their match-ups tonight.

D4

Seneca continued their remarkable string of defense with a 40-20 win over Barneveld.  They will try to slow down Eleva-Strum tonight, who rolled with a 73-38 win over New Lisbon.

Speaking of blowouts, Suring advanced to the sectional finals with a 90-56 win over Bowler.  Josh Regal had 22 points and 12 assists in the win and state scoring leader Derek Nillissen had 37 in the loss.  They will take on Marshfield Columbus in a rematch of last year's sectional final that went to overtime.

Defending state champ Randoph were leading 25-4 at halftime and went on to win 49-36 against Sheboygan Christian.  This sets up a rematch of last year's sectional final with undefeated Benton, who defeated Catholic Central 58-46.
