Boys Showcase MVP, All-Showcase Team & Recap

One hundred and eleven boys particpated in the 4th annual WisSports.net PrepShowcase this past Saturday, September 13th.  The event was held at theJust a Game Fieldhouse in the Wisconsin Dells.



Antone Byrd (pictured below) from Milwaukee Washington won the Showcase MVP award as voted on by the coaches.  Also receiving votes were Brandon Bauer (Gilmanton), Ed Reed (Milwaukee King), Brett Meineke (Hamilton), Brian Brooks (Destiny) and Nimrod Hillard IV (Madison East).







The following boys were voted to the All-Showcase team as voted on by the coaches:

The coaches voted the following players to the showcase All-Hustle team:

The teams were placed in four pools of 4.  Once pool play was completed the teams with a cooresponding finishes played in a mini-tournament.  The Rutgers team coached by James Adams defeated the Wisconsin team coached by Kurt Melton in the championship game in sudden death overtime.  Members of the Rutgers squad included:
