Regis' Heather Bowe was selected as the top senior Post player as part of the WSN Senior Girls Basketball Awards presented by Taco Bell.

Bowe was a First Team All-State pick last year as she led the Ramblers to the Division 4 state title. In two state tourney games last year she averaged 26.5 points and 15.5 rebounds.

Bowe has picked up right where she left off last season and is one of the favorites for the Miss Basketball award. She averages 21.1 points per game this year as the Ramblers are back at state.

A well-rounded player, Bowe adds 8.2 rebounds and 3 steals per game while shooting 65.1% from the field and 86.2% from the free throw line. She also took on the responsibilty of often guarding the other team's best player according to head coach Cody Rumpel.

She will take her game to the SEC next year as she has signed with the Vanderbilt Commodores, who advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Finalists for the award were Bowe, Tara Knapstein of New London, Kylie Moxley of Brillion, Jenny Smith of Arrowhead, and Avyanna Young of Milwaukee King.
