Athlete of the Week: Owen Linzmeier, Nekoosa

Owen Linzmeier of Nekoosa boys basketball has been selected as WSN Athlete of the Week for the week of November 25 through December 1 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net.
Of the 2546 total votes this week, Linzmeier received 1025 of them while Katy Walz of Waukesha West fnished second in the voting with 672 votes.
Linzmeier scored 30 points in a 62-44 win over Pittsville and scored 26 points in a 67-56 victory over Assumption at the Cranberry Classic. He made 8 threes in the two games.
