Athens' Shane Coker has been selected as the top senior Outfielder as part of the WSN Senior Baseball Awards.

A First Team All-State choice last year, Coker may have been even better in 2015. He hit an amazing .694 (34 for 49) with a .766 on-base percentage, as teams simply walked him in nearly 1/3 of his plate appearances.

He produced 28 RBI while scoring 32 times, posting a .939 slugging percentage. He also went 6-1 on the mound.

Finalists for the award were Coker, Zach Abfall of Bay Port, Sam Hawley of Oshkosh North, Jared Hoerter of Kenosha Indian Trail, and Noah Robinson of Green Bay East/West.

Past winners of the award include Kenosha Bradford's Nate Mikolas (2012), Madison West's Alex Brown (2013), and Holmen's Jeren Kendall (2014).
