Wisconsin Wrestling Online releases updated rankings for December 12

Wisconsin Wrestling Online released its second team and individual rankings of the season Wednesday.

Take a look at the team landscape along some of the individuals on the moves in the latest rankings.
 

Wisconsin Wrestling Online Team Rankings: December 12

Division 1

Kaukauna remains No.1 as the rest of the top-6 holds steady. But there is plenty of shake-up at the bottom on the rankings. 

Marshfield moves into the seven spot from 10th. Waunakee is up three places to No.8. Waterford is also up three places to ninth. Mukwonago and Arrowhead move into 10th and 11th respectively after each being honorable mention in the first rankings.

De Pere climbs to No.12 after not being featured in the season’s first rankings.

Kenosha Bradford falls to honorable mention after beginning the year No.7.

Sauk Prairie, Rhinelander and Janesville Craig earn honorable mention status for the first time this season. 

Division 2

Luxemburg-Casco holds steady in the top spot as does the rest of the top-four.

Melrose-Mindoro/GET moves up to No.5 from the sixth spot, while Wrightstown is also up a place to No.6.

Denmark and Two Rivers are each up a position to Nos. 7 and 8, respectively.

River Valley made big gains, advancing from honorable mention to No.9.

Oconto Falls dropped a position to No.11 as did Whitewater at No.12. Evansville/Albany fell from No.12 to honorable mention.

Lodi fell from No.5 to 10th.

Division 3

The top-9 remain the same as they were a week ago with Stratford parked in the top spot.

Athens moved up from honorable mention to No.10. That spot was vacated by Random Lake which fell from 10th to 11th.

Spring Valley/Elmwood slipped from No.11 to No.12 and Edgar moved from 12th to honorable mention.

Kewaunee makes its first appearance in the team rankings after being named honorable mention.
 

Wisconsin Wrestling Online Individual Rankings: December 12

New No.1s

The latest individual rankings feature five new No.1 wrestlers.

In Division 1, Beau Ladu of Badger moves his way to the top of the rankings at 113 pounds.

East Troy’s Tommy Larson bumped up to No.1 in Division 2 at 106 pounds, while Devan Vandenbush (Luxemburg-Casco) did likewise at 160.

Ryan Anderson of Clear Lake now holds the distinction as the top-ranked grappler in Division 3 at 113 pounds. While Cayden Cary (Mineral Point) is now tops at 132.

With the exception of Vandenbush, each of the new No.1 wrestlers were second at their weights in the original rankings which debuted last week.

Vandenbush was previously third at 170 pounds before assuming the top spot at his new weight class.
