Here are the Wisconsin Sports Network weekly award winners in boys' basketball for the games played December 14 through December 19:

Player of the Week

Tanner Resch

Tanner Resch, 6-1, Sr., G, Sussex Hamilton
An explosive offensive player with outstanding quickness and the ability to put extreme pressure on defenses with the ball in his hands, Resch is coming off the best week of his high school basketball career. The 6-foot-1 combination guard, who holds a NAIA scholarship offer from Clarke University and has received strong interest from a number of NCAA Division II programs, scored a school-record 49 points last Tuesday in leading a Sussex Hamilton squad playing without injured senior Patrick Baldwin Jr., to a 90-71 triumph over previously undefeated and top-ranked Brookfield East. Resch made all 14 of his free-throw attempts in the game as the Chargers took control early and led for the majority of the contest. Last Friday, Resch scored 33 points in a hard-earned 74-68 win over Greater Metro Conference rival Wauwatosa West, and he then ended the week by making five three-point shots and scoring 29 points in a 93-68 win over Catholic Memorial. Resch's strong showing helped coach Andy Cerroni's squad improve to 5-2 heading into another difficult test on Tuesday against Brookfield Central. On the season, Resch is averaging 30.7 ppg and ranks among the leaders in the state in scoring.

Team of the Week

Cashton Eagles
The Eagles made some noise heard around the state last Friday when they improved to 6-0 on the season with a 61-57 non-league triumph over visiting Blair-Taylor, which came into the contest ranked No. 1 among WIAA Division 5 schools in the WisSports.net Coaches Poll. Coach Scot Wall's club came from behind in notching the impressive win, outscoring the Wildcats 37-30 in the second half to turn a 27-24 halftime deficit into one of the biggest regular-season wins in recent program history. Coming off a 17-8 season, Cashton was expected to contend for the title in the Scenic Bluffs Conference and the Eagles have lived up to those predictions in rolling to their 6-0 mark. Junior guard Bowdy Dempsey (5-11) scored a game-high 27 points in the win over Blair-Taylor while teammates Jack Hilden (5-10) and Jarret Carpenter (5-11) added 13 and 11 points, respectively. Earlier in the week, Cashton defeated Royall 45-28 behind 17 points from Dempsey.

Coach of the Week

Randy Jordan, St. Croix Central
In his second season as the head coach at St. Croix Central, Jordan has led the Panthers to a 5-0 start after guiding the team to an 18-7 record a year ago. Jordan's strong offensive unit is averaging 84.2 ppg while the Panthers' stingy defense is allowing a mere 43.8 ppg. St. Croix Central owns triumphs over Elk Mound, Northwestern, Ellsworth, Osceola and New Richmond. The Panthers beat New Richmond 102-58 last Friday, avenging a pair of losses to the defending Middle Border Conference champions from a year ago. Key players for St. Croix Central include senior Jackson Pettit (6-2), who is averaging 19.4 ppg, junior Colin Hackbarth (6-0), who is averaging 13.6 ppg, senior Karson Klin (6-3), who is averaging 11.6 ppg and 5.6 rpg, and senior point guard Gabe Siler (6-0), who is averaging 8.4 ppg, 6.4 rpg and 8.0 apg.
